West Virginia Department of Education School Counselor Conference

(Free to WV School Counselors and District-Level School Counseling Supervisors)

Updates and information around WVBE Policies 2510, 2520.19, and W. Va. Code §18-5-18b.
Participants will expand counseling skills and knowledge as they participate in an interactive skills training around Solution Focused Brief Counseling and attend breakout sessions on a variety of academic, social-emotional, and mental health topics. Sessions include information about free West Virgina Community College programs, scholarships, career exploration, trauma, mindfulness, human trafficking, a special session for county-level school counselor supervisors, and much more. Please see the Agenda Outline below. Breakout sessions will be selected during the registration process. Session times and locations will be provided after registration closes.
