Given this year’s unprecedented spring quarantine for most students, teachers in kindergarten  face multiple unknowns, and the lesson plans usually used during the first month of school may need serious tweaking to fit students’ current needs. Diagnostic assessment information is now more important than ever for teachers to know where to start with new and returning students.  During this session, we’ll offer guidance for looking at what data exists and for planning out an approach to fall assessment and instruction that supports teachers and students in getting off to a solid start for 2020-21.
