Senior Fellow, International Center for Leadership in Education and author of Bold School: Old School Wisdom + New School Innovation = Blended Learning that Works – Hosted by Greenbrier and Jefferson County Schools

Grade Levels: Pre-K – 12

Audience: Mathematics and special education teacher leaders in grade bands Pre-K – 5 and 6 –12. Each county will be allotted 15 teacher leader participants.

Mr. Kieschnick will inspire and challenge mathematics teachers to engage students in meaningful learning that blends research-based best practices with new innovations in technology and brain research to create classrooms rich in rigor, relevance, and student learning.

Follow-up Opportunities:

• For optimal impact, teacher leaders who attend the workshop would serve as facilitators to cadres of teachers at the school or district level to share the research and best practices presented by Mr. Kieschnick. Teacher leaders may consider a book study of Bold School: Old School Wisdom + New School Innovation = Blended Learning that Works.
