The Advanced Career Education (ACE) program provides high school graduates with the opportunity to enter an advanced technical program of study for targeted industry sectors. This “13th year” will allow students to achieve advanced credentials, certifications, and licenses while earning potential college credits towards an associates of applied science degree.
The majority of CTE county centers and multi-county centers offering adult CTE Programs of Study are accredited and comply with standards established by Council on Occupational Education (COE), which is a national accreditor recognized by U.S. Department of Education. Accredited schools may offer federal financial aid opportunities for those who qualify.
Adult Programs of Study are approved through the WVDE CTE program approval process.
