Policies

The Office of School Facilities manages the implementation of several WVBE policies.

Planning of School Facilities

Policy 6200 provides that each county school system maintains and updates annually a Comprehensive Educational Facilities Plan (CEFP).

Indoor Air Quality

Policy 6202 sets forth the procedure for investigation and response to Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) complaints.

HVAC Technicians

Policy 6203 addresses services provided by heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning (HVAC) technicians.

School Closings or Consolidations

Policy 6204 sets the requirements for county boards of education in proceeding with a potential school closing or consolidation.
