Driver Education
Driver education provides students with the knowledge and skills to safely and efficiently operate a car or vehicle on our roads and highways.
This includes having the ability to make quick and wise decisions while driving. Students learn how to search, identify, predict, decide, and execute in order to be safe on the roads.
West Virginia focuses on teaching traffic laws and ordinances as well as the skills needed for basic motor skills necessary to control a vehicle. We also focus on the physical, psychological, and legal effects and consequences of distracted driving and impaired driving.
