A vacancy must have been posted with no certified individuals making an application and an offer of employment must be made to receive this endorsement. This endorsement is valid for one (1) year. To apply, you must:
Be 18 years old
Hold an endorsement in a secondary level endorsement 9-Adult
Have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university
Be enrolled in the Driver Education cohort through the Department
Have official recommendation from the county superintendent
Submit official transcripts
To send official transcripts to our office electronically, email them to cert.transcripts.wvde@k12.wv.us. If you select to send them electronically, they must be sent directly from the college or university to the Office of Certification.
