A Driver Education Restricted Content Endorsement is issued to individuals employed by a West Virginia county public school system who do not hold an endorsement in driver education. You can apply for this permit if:
You are enrolled in our Driver Education cohort
You have applied for a position where no certified candidate has applied
The county Superintendent has determined you are the most qualified applicant for the position
Hold a valid West Virginia professional teaching certificate
Hold a secondary level endorsement 9-Adult
Be enrolled in our Driver Education cohort
Have held a valid driver's license for the past five (5) years
Have a satisfactory driving record confirmed by a state Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV)
Have not accumulated more than nine (9) points on your DMV record in the past five (5) years
Have never had a suspended or revoked driver's license
Have never been charged or convicted with DWI (driving while impaired)
This includes alcohol, controlled substances, drugs, or any combination of thereof
Have official recommendation from the county superintendent
