Adult Permit Endorsed for Areas of Career and Technical Education

Initial Application

The initial permit is valid for five (5) years. To apply, you must:

• Be a U.S. citizen or hold eligible documentation (see Policy 5202)
• Have good character
• Be at least 18 years old
• Be physically, mentally, and emotionally qualified
• Be employed within the West Virginia public school system
• Receive the recommendation of the employing county superintendent, Educational Service Cooperative, Multi-County Vocational Center Director, West Virginia Schools of Diversion and Transition superintendent or designated official within the Division of Career and Technical Education & Governor’s Economic Initiatives

Renewal

The renewed permit is valid for five (5) years. to apply, you must:
