Career Technical Education (CTE) Form

Use the CTE Form to apply for or renew any CTE credential. On this paper form, check the box for the specific permit, certificate, endorsement, authorization, advanced credential, or advanced salary level you need. Application fees depend on the specific credential(s) you choose.

General Requirements

To apply, you must:

• Be a U.S. citizen or hold eligible documentation (see Policy 5202)
• Be at least 18 years old
• Be physically, mentally, and emotionally qualified
• Have recommendation from the county Superintendent

Initial CTE Permits and Certificates

• V9 - Initial CTE First-Class Full-Time Permit ($50.00)
• V9 - Initial CTE Substitute Permit ($50.00)
• V7 - Initial CTE Certificate ($35.00)
• V7 - Initial Adult CTE Certificate (ACE) ($35.00)
• V17 - Initial Adult CTE Permit ($35.00)
• V7A - Initial CTE Certificate for Reciprocity for Out-Of-State License ($100.00)

Renewal of CTE Permits and Certificates     

• V9 - Renewal CTE First-Class Full-Time Permit ($50.00)
