A Community Programs Pre-K Lead Teacher Authorization is a one-year authorization issued to applicants employed in a community programs setting as defined in Policy 5202.
General Requirements
Be a U.S. citizen or hold eligible documentation (see Policy 5202)
Be at least 18 years old
Be physically, mentally, and emotionally qualified
Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university with an overall GPA of 2.5 or higher
Renewal
You must complete at least six (6) semester hours of coursework in the specialized training of early childhood or E-Learning Coursework as described in Policy 5202.
