The Office of School Finance provides accounting and technical assistance to county boards of education in the areas of school finance including the State Aid funding formula, budgeting, financial statements and salary schedules. Also, the office maintains policies and procedures related to accounting for public schools and county boards of education and serves as a centralized location for county Chief School Business Officials/Treasurers to have support at the state level in order to maintain strong financial practices in their respective counties.
