Learn more about the teams competing in the 2026 Culineering Challenge.
Nine teams representing career technical education centers statewide will compete for the title of 2026 Culineering Challenge Champion. Each member of the team contributes to the theme of this year's event: creating a functioning mini-golf course with edible pieces featuring elements of a West Virginia Tourism region.
Team Roles
Each team is composed of six members with the following roles:
Culinary: Two students from ProStart or baking and pastry programs are responsible for designing and creating the edible parts of the golf course.
Engineering: Two engineering students from an engineering, computer science or robotics program are responsible for the mechanical components of the course.
Social Media Marketing: One student from any CTE program is responsible for promoting efforts through earned and owned media on the team's social media channel. This includes providing live updates for their respective audience during the competition.
