Content Standards Revision Cycle and Adoption Schedule
6.1. Per W. Va. Code §18-2A-10(c), the WVBE (Instruction Resources Policy 2445.40) establishes the Adoption Groups for required subjects to be taught in grades pre-k-12 as listed below:

The adoption of any instructional resources not listed in the chart shall be at the discretion of the county board as needed.
*Driver Education must be offered but is not mandatory to be taken; therefore, counties have the choice to adopt at this time. **Personal Finance is newly required and is currently in this adoption cycle.
