The Temporary Teaching Certificate for Program Completers is valid for one (1) year, and renewable up to two (2) times; for a total of three (3) years.
Renewal Requirements
To renew, you must:
Obtain successful evaluations for each year taught under the Temporary Certificate within the West Virginia Educator Evaluation System with an earned performance rating of Emerging or above
Be employed full-time in a West Virginia public school system
Have recommendation from the county superintendent
