Career and Technical Education Permanent Advanced Credential - Personal Finance

General Requirements

This credential will never expire once obtained. To apply, you must:

• Be a U.S. citizen or hold eligible documentation (see Policy 5202, Minimum Requirements for the Licensure of Professional/Paraprofessional Personnel and Advanced Salary Classifications)
• Have good character
• Be at least 18 years old
• Be physically, mentally, and emotionally qualified
• Be employed within the West Virginia public school system
• Receive the recommendation of the employing county superintendent, Educational Service Cooperative, Multi-County Vocational Center Director, West Virginia Schools of Diversion and Transition superintendent or designated official within the Division of Career and Technical Education & Governor’s Economic Initiatives
• Have completed the WVDE eLearning CTE Advanced Credential for Personal Finance course or the WVU Finance University training.
