The Office of Instructional Leadership assists schools and districts focusing on the West Virginia Standards for High-Quality Schools. This office seeks to help schools and districts improve student achievement through consistent support. Focus areas include:

  • Assisting districts with strategic planning
  • Shared leadership practices
  • Building strong instructional teams
  • Offering support for mental health, safe and supportive schools, and attendance
