Division of PK-12 Adult Instruction & Career Engagement

The Division of PK-Adult Instruction and Career Engagement offers educational opportunities and workforce readiness programs throughout West Virginia through four key offices. These offices ensure that students acquire essential skills and workforce credentials. Key programs include:

• Academic and related arts
• Career and technical education
• Adult Services and GED testing
• Co-curricular enrichment opportunities

Responsibilities

• Lead educational initiatives such as Ready, Read, Write, Universal Pre-K, Unite with Numeracy, Classroom 2 Career, and Simulated Workplace.
• Provide professional development opportunities for educators in subjects such as science, mathematics, English, social studies, and career exploration programs.
• Support personal and career growth through dual credit, Advanced Placement®, and West Virginia Virtual School programs.
