Apprenticeship for Child Development Specialist

In this pathway, you must complete the following coursework and testing requirements.

  • Completion of four (4) semesters of apprenticeship for child development (ACDS) coursework 
  • A seal-bearing certificate issued by the United States Department of Labor (US DOL) or ACDS course transcript 
  • Complete the Aide test
    • Applicants that submit official US DOL certificate do not need to take the aide test
