Community and Technical College Coursework

In this pathway, you must complete the following coursework and testing requirements. The coursework below must be listed on an official transcript. 

• English: completion of a college-level English course (100 level course or higher) 
• Math: completion of a college-level Math course (100 level course or higher) 
• Child Development: must be on approved course list 
• Special Needs: must be on approved course list 
• Take the Aide test
  • Applicants that submit a certificate of completion from an approved ECCAT/Paraprofessional community college program are not required to take the aide test.
