Educator Preparation Program

We offer a Career Technical Education (CTE) Educator Preparation Program designed to help industry professionals transition into the classroom. This program provides a structured pathway to earn a Professional Teaching Certificate through educator training, supervised classroom practice, and completion of a professional portfolio.

Program Overview

The CTE Educator Preparation Program includes:

• Orientation: A required introduction to the program that must be completed before beginning the learning modules or practicum.
• Learning Modules: Coursework focused on instructional strategies, classroom practices, and educator development to help prepare you for success in the classroom.
• Practicum: A hands-on component that includes classroom observations, onsite visits, and completion of a professional portfolio.

Flexible Learning Options

Participants have one to three years to complete the program and may choose the format that works best for their schedule:

• Fully Online
• Fully In-Person
• Hybrid (combination of online and in-person)
