About the Program

Aligned with the Ready, Read, Write, West Virginia initiative, the Comprehensive State Literacy Plan, and the Unite with Numeracy initiative, WV Impact+ supports the state’s literacy and numeracy priorities by:

• Building educator and leadership capacity through evidence-based professional learning
• Supporting implementation of high-quality, standards-aligned instruction within a multi-tiered system of support
• Facilitating coaching cycles and continuous improvement processes that use data to inform instruction and intervention
• Ensuring consistency and alignment across state, regional, district, and school systems

This program advances the focus on high-quality instruction, knowledge and capacity, and partnerships. All of these function as key mechanisms for helping to translate statewide priorities into effective classroom practice and increasing student outcomes.
