Academic Showdown
Launched in 2022, the West Virginia Academic Showdown is an academic head-to-head competition that brings West Virginia high school students from across the state together for regional matchups.
2025 Season
The WV Academic Showdown is open to West Virginia high school students in grades 9-12. Teams from around the state compete in regional competitions.
The two top teams from each region qualify for the championship competition at the West Virginia Culture Center.
