If you attended an in-state college or university, this certificate allows you to work in West Virginia public schools as a school counselor, school nurse, school psychologist or social services and attendance director.

If you attended an out-of-state college or university, this certificate allows you to work in West Virginia public schools as a school counselor, school nurse, school psychologist or social services and attendance director.

If you hold a valid, out-of-state student support license, this certificate allows you to work in the West Virginia public school system as a school counselor, school nurse, school psychologist or social services and attendance director.

Authorizations are issued to individuals working in a public school-related specialization not included in the Professional or Career and Technical Education Certificate.
