Advanced salary/advanced degree recognition is limited to those who hold a Professional Teaching, Student Support, or Administrative Certification or equivalents.

This fee reimbursement is only for teachers who are employed in the West Virginia public school system and hold, or are working to acquire, National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS) Certification.

Authorizations are issued to individuals working in a public school-related specialization not included in the Professional or Career and Technical Education Certificate.
