Advanced salary/advanced degree recognition is limited to those who hold a Professional Teaching, Student Support, or Administrative Certification or equivalents.

Fee reimbursement is only for professional school speech-language pathologists, counselors, psychologists, and nurses employed in the West Virginia

This fee reimbursement is only for teachers who are employed in the West Virginia public school system and hold, or are working to acquire, National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS) Certification.

Authorizations are issued to individuals working in a public school-related specialization not included in the Professional or Career and Technical Education Certificate.

Authorizations may be issued to an individual hired and assigned to these positions by a West Virginia county school system. This authorization is valid for one (1) year.

This authorization is issued to an individual who is employed as the lead teacher in a collaborative Pre-K setting.
