Fill out Form 2AR if you are applying to renew your short-term substitute teacher permit in a county with a critical shortage. 

A Restricted Short-Term

Fill out Form 2L if you have been employed in the West Virginia public school system in a substitute position for more than 30 days in a specific

Use Form 2LE to renew your Long-Term Substitute permit and add new endorsements.

Fill out Form 2LR to renew your long-term substitute permit, which allows you to hold a substitute position for more than 30 days in a specific

Fill out Form 2S if you have been hired by a West Virginia county school system in a substitute position for up to 30 days. 

 

Fill out Form 2SR to renew your short-term substitute permit which allows you to substitute teach day-to day in any position for up to 30 days.

Form 3 allows individuals to teach in an area of critical need and shortage while finishing their state-approved teacher preparation program

Authorizations may be issued to an individual hired and assigned to these positions by a West Virginia county school system. This authorization is valid for one (1) year.

Recognition of National Board for Professional Teaching Standards certification, or application for National Board for Professional Teaching Standards

Renewal of recognition of National Board for Professional Teaching Standards certification, or renewal for National Board for Professional Teaching

Form 4A allows you to renew your professional administrative certificate.

Renewal of a certificate issued to an individual who is not a United States citizen in order to work in public schools of West Virginia as a Principal
