Logan Jordan is a West Virginia finalist in the United States Senate Youth Program (USSYP). She is a senior at Cabell Midland High School and plans to attend West Virginia University to study aerospace engineering.

Jordan feels the USSYP is a stepping stone to becoming more involved in the United States government. Presently, she holds the following leadership roles:

  • President of the Cabell Midland High School Beta Club
  • President of the Cabell Midland High School National Honor Society
  • Treasurer for Cabell Midland High School’s Science Olympiad team

All finalists were asked why they should be chosen to represent West Virginia.

“I’m a very driven individual who is knowledgeable in politics and the world surrounding us,” said Jordan. “I know that if I am chosen to represent West Virginia, I offer up an ambition ensuring this opportunity to do great things won’t go to waste.”

Jordan enjoys fishing, hunting, hiking and other related activities. She also enjoys reading, writing and spending time with her family and pets.
