Students from Ms. Boone’s American Sign Language (ASL) class at Greenbrier West High School (GWHS) visited Ms. Holley’s kindergarten class at Rupert Elementary. The ASL students provided valuable insights on hearing loss and various hearing aid options, and the students embraced the opportunity to learn ASL signs while singing the alphabet and counting. They also did a creative activity by crafting Play-Doh hearing aids and enjoyed a captivating ASL read-aloud session. This visit is integral to the newly introduced career technical education sign language interpreter program at GWHS.
