Kassidy Heldreth is a Grafton High School student who is passionate about coding and app/game design. She appreciates the program’s flexibility, allowing her to work independently and collaboratively in a group. Her choice of concentration stems from her curiosity about understanding the inner workings of programs and creating them. Heldreth’s involvement in digital design has enabled her to participate in digital design competitions. She intends to pursue software engineering or computer science at West Virginia University. In addition to her technical pursuits, she is active in band, Honors Chemistry, Honors Pre-Calculus/Trigonometry, AP History, and AP Language and Composition, showcasing her well-rounded and academically diverse interests.
