2022 Virtual Surgery

Overview

The 2022 Virtual Surgery Experience is scheduled for Thursday, November 17, 2022, from 8:15 am – 9:30 am. Since 2007 this project has represented a partnership between the health care industry and education. It is a collaborative effort between Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) and CTE Health Science Education, a division of the West Virginia Department of Education (WVDE). This year’s surgery is a coronary artery bypass graft (previously recorded), performed and narrated by Dr. Hazaim Alwair. The broadcast will be followed by a live question/answer session via email or Twitter.
