Six schools in West Virginia Schools of Diversion and Transition receive Title I, Part D, Subpart 1 funds. This program provides supplementary education services to help provide education continuity for children and youths in state-run institutions for juveniles and in adult correctional institutions so that the students can make successful transitions to school or employment once they are released.

Title I funds in WVSDT have provided:

  • Professional development opportunities
  • Instructional technology
